in loving memory

ALFRED GARNET BANFIELD

Born a boy - Died a hero

To Berta and Mabel - thank you for giving up your family.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We will remember them.

To all those who died, fought and returned, or who had their families torn apart - today and every day - we give thanks.

In memory of the fallen, please list your commemorate name below.

We all know - when you move, it is the perfect opportunity to cull all of the "stuffs" cluttering your life.

Never did I see, just HOW much stuff was cluttering our lives.

For example, before we moved, we got rid of 5 car loads of stuff - and we are still getting rid of more. I have no idea where it has come from.

I thought, that I would post some more about our downsizing efforts. Unfortunately there are not many pictures of the stuff we have already got rid of - but I will start now. Stay tuned!

What have you got rid of lately? How did it make you feel?

We have a new baby

His name is Carlos - and we think he is beautiful!

We wanted to do something, help someone, but to "adpot" a child - it costs around $45 per month. Although this is a beautiful program, it was just not in our budget.

So we decided to have a look at animals instead. We are not the only one who adopts them, so the fees are only $5.00 per month, much better for us - and we are still helping!

If you would like to find more about Carlos, please see here and if you want to have a look at the whole website, you can visit them here.

Writing Resources

Good Morning to all of you! I need to ask for your assistance once again.

As some of you know, I am not able read and write properly - and that is without having a bad day. :)

I am using this blog as a way to learn, become part of a community and pursue my passions. However - I want to learn how to write better.

Do you have any tips, mentors or resources that you could recommend?  Please comment below :)

Thank You . . .

I just wanted to post a post about you! Yes, I know, you have seen these all over the place, but I wanted to say a huge thank you.

Yesterday, I opened up. This was extremely hard hard to do - but I knew I had to. There are so many people out there, pretending to go on with normal lives, when this is happening to them.

So to the people who commented, tweeted, emailed, messaged and to the others, who looked away - I thank you for your honest response, and beautiful words.

Does a gentle word improve your day? Save your comment from here - and tell someone that they mean something to you! Spread the love!

Sometimes I wonder if it is worth it, trudging through the mess - with no end in sight.

Hello - and welcome to a bad day. I thought that I might show what is inside of me.

My brain is "fuzzy", my head hurts, my thoughts are overwhelming, I cannot even see properly to type this and I will be at home all day - the fear of going outside just too great.

But this is me, this is normal. This is how my brain works, and I know it will be over soon.

Have you ever posted about a bad day? Please link below.
